Combine Screen Printing with Digital Printing
Only with Kornit 933 and MHM S-Type automatic screen printing press can you produce stunning multi-media designs
like the Masked Lady. This example combines screen printed discharge ink, gold plastisol ink and a highly digitally
printed image.
Lowest Ink Cost
The cost of ink per garment is approximately $0.15 for CMYK prints and $1.00 for CMYK+White. This is based on a 9"x11"
design and includes all ink used for purging and cleaning processes. At $160 / Liter, Kornit provides by far the lowest
ink cost of any system. Lower ink costs mean higher profits for your business.
Integrated Pre-Treatment System
The 93X series comes standard with an integrated pre-treatment system that automatically applies a uniform application
of the wetting solution (fixative agent). This eliminates the extra garment handling associated, as well as the messy
and time consuming pre-treatment process required on other systems. Simply take the shirt out of the box, and load it
on the Kornit printer!
This patented wetting solution features a unique formula that combines wetting additives with water. The two then
generate a chemical reaction that allows the ink to bind to the garment's fibers for a completely wash-resistan print.
Reliable Ink Delivery System
Kornit's gravity-based ink delivery system is specially designed to handle Opaque white inks in addition to CMYK,
smoothly and efficiently, preventing ink-flow setbacks. This unique design is the most reliable system being offered
in the marketplace today.
Spectra Nova AAA Print Heads
Kornit uses high-performance SpectraŽ Nova 256/80 AAA Printheads. With 256 nozzles and an 80 pico-liter drop volume,
Kornit's Spectra printheads deliver 300% more ink per drop than systems using Epson heads. At average print resolutions,
this lets you achieve greater color vibrancy with ˝ the number of drops! Thanks to the large diameter nozzles,
Spectra Nova AAA heads are better able to handle highly pigmented inks with less clogging and maintenance.
Color LCD Display with Real Time Message Response
An easy to view 15" color LCD screen with simple commands for all of the main operator functions; Automatic Cleaning,
Nozzle Test, Sleep Mode, General Maintaince, Motion Control, and Job Management includes a Real-Time Message Response.
Motion System
Kornit 93X Series uses all linear magnetic drives, not electric motors! Harnessing the speed and accuracy of magnetic
linear drives, Kornit's print head and pallet movement is faster and more accurate than systems using ball screws or
belt drives. As a non-contact, direct drive system, Kornit's magnetic linear drives work countless hours on end with
no maintenance. This all adds up to greater throughput with lower maintenance costs.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100
Kornit's inks are state of the art, pigmented inks formulated to ensure the highest level of compatibility and
performance for Kornit's machine. Kornit Inks are certified to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for digitally printed
cotton and cotton/polyester fabrics in products with direct contact to skin.
